Finding Fairies in your Garden

What is a fairy? There are many different theories on this - some call them elementals, some call them nature spirits, and some call them fallen angels. But the fairies of the garden are, on the whole, a benevolent family of nature spirits, tending the flowers and trees, playing with the birds and insects, and trying to keep the heart of the wild in the ever-growing urban sprawl that mankind is forcing upon Mother Nature.

That said, they can be mistrustful of humans because of their concrete jungles and disregard for nature, so there are numerous things that one must do in order to encourage them to show themselves in your garden, and believe that you are a friend of the fairies, not an enemy!

I love fairies and actively encourage them into both my home and my garden. They fill the household with laughter, joy and magic - and if you work hard to make a beautiful garden for them, they bring good fortune too! Not just in the money sense - fairies who bond with humans will bring protection, romance and luck to name but a few things.
